We found a poor dog named Tosha in a forest park near a tree on a leash. We untied the dog and took him to the vet clinic. He just lay there for a long time, refusing to eat or drink. This is how dogs behave when their owners have betrayed them.
But good things happen in life. Tosha has been taken and has had a home for almost five months.
The new owner shared with us how he tamed the dog.
For the first month in the new house, Tosha continued to lie down all the time, only occasionally got up to eat and when he was taken out for a walk, he was not interested in others. The man had to carry the dog into the elevator in his arms, he didn’t go any other way, and it wasn’t easy, because Tosha weighed 40 kg. However, the owner did not give up.
And then Tosha slowly began to trust him. He gradually became a more and more affectionate and friendly dog. It turned out that he knows the basic commands.
Tosha is no longer afraid of the elevator. From the 24th floor, he descends calmly. One day in the park he saw two Irish wolfhounds and looked at the owner with surprise as if asking: “Are there such giant dogs?”.
Sometimes dogs are unlucky, and they’ve been living in a shelter for years. But Tosha’s luck turned, and he stayed with us for a few weeks. We’ve never been able to figure out who left the dog tied to the tree. Tosha no longer remembers this human.
