In 2020, Geoff Grewcock rescued and fattened a wild fox. Already in 2021, the predator thanked the 70-year-old man.
Geoff Grewcock has undergone complex treatment related to retinal detachment.
After the operation, he needed rest to recover as soon as possible. The fox helped the man with this.
The predator crawled out to Jeff on the bed, allowed him to stroke herself, which is not the usual behavior of foxes.
“It helped me so much. When she came to me, she gave a real incentive to return to life, where I can be on the street with animals”,– remembered Geoff.
It is known that man works in the field of animal welfare.
The fox he saved remembered Geoff finding her little by the side of the road. There were 150 ticks on the baby, which were removed from her body.
“If we hadn’t treated her, she would have died within the next 24 hours. I think the fox paid back. Because she knows we helped and saved her life,” added Geoff.
The fox remained to live in a new family.
Although she is not kept and is constantly released into the yard, she still returns to the people who saved her.
