This woman has had his number plate for 15 years, but the state now considers it “inappropriate”

Personalised number plates offer vehicle owners a unique opportunity to show their individuality. People who agree to pay a surcharge can personalise their plates with messages or combinations of letters and numbers. Personalised number plates allow people to show their creativity and express themselves in a unique way. Wendy Auger recently discovered that her courtesy plate, which she had proudly worn for fifteen years, had been unexpectedly rejected because of a word on it. Her badge was quite funny, with the phrase “PB4WEGO”, which made many people smile as she drove along the highways and back roads of her hometown in New Hampshire. Auger is convinced that the state is trying to suppress her freedom of speech, a fundamental right. She also believes that the phrase “pe* before we go” is not inappropriate on a number plate. The State claims that the changes were made several years ago following a NH Supreme Court ruling, and that the rules are now very clear.
Should Ms. Auger be forced to change her number plate from fifteen years ago?
