The Ruby Red Performers, a group of 12 women aged between 25 and 64 from the sleepy village of Withernsea, made a name for themselves on Britain’s Got Talent. Their audition got off to an awkward start, with the women dressed as laundresses performing a lacklustre opening dance. Simon Cowell was quick to dismiss them. However, they quickly undressed, donned silk nightgowns and launched into a sensual choreography.
To the song ‘I Like the Way You Move’ by The BodyRockers, they shed more and more of their clothes, revealing a bold, untamed energy. The crowd was initially silent during the slow introduction, but began to applaud as the performance gained momentum.
The Ruby Red Performers’ dancing became bolder and bolder, culminating in a daring finale where they remained in their underwear, adorned with British flag tassels.
