In a recent interview with Pollystar, Dolly Parton explained that she would never tour again. She explained:
‘I’ll do special concerts here and there from time to time. I might do a long weekend of concerts, or just a few concerts at a festival. But I don’t intend to do a big tour any more’.
Dolly Parton, who rose to the top of show business after growing up in poverty in Appalachia, will no doubt be missed on stage.
