When 10-year-old Arthur Bolzonella took to the stage in 2015 on La Voz Kids, he immediately charmed the audience with his rendition of a Bob Dylan song. Returning to it filled those who watched with joy.The audience couldn’t get enough of 10-year-old Arthur’s mesmerising rendition of Bob Dylan’s ‘Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door’ during his blind audition for the talent show. As well as catching the attention of the three coaches, his performance led him to seek out Louis Bertignac as a mentor.
‘Knockin‘ on Heaven’s Door’ became a legendary song after it was used in the 1973 film ‘Pat Garrett and Billy The Kid’ and released worldwide as a single by Bob Dylan. The fact that Arthur chose to perform Dylan’s masterpiece demonstrates the extent to which Dylan’s work is relevant to modern musical culture; the song’s classic appeal has inspired musicians of all generations.
Although Arthur switched places once at the beginning, he improved as the song progressed and eventually delighted us at the end, when the other judges switched places right at the end. Arthur’s mother was delighted. Thanks to her efforts, her son won over the judges.
