When you’re a teenager, all you think about is having fun with your friends, having sleepovers and hanging out at the mall. But it turns out that hanging out isn’t every 14-year-old’s dream.
Ellie Yeater, from West Virginia, had other plans for her free time. This amazing young woman bought a 1974 motorhome and transformed it into an incredible living space for herself. It’s not that she didn’t want to share a place with her family, but what she really loved was having something of her own.
How many kids her age can boast of having saved enough money to buy a house? I guess not many.
Ellie managed to save $500 for the caravan, but she found one that she bought for less than half that.
The place she called her ‘glamping’ was beginning to take on the look Ellie had imagined in her mind. She knew exactly what she wanted.
People have even offered to buy it, but she says she doesn’t want to sell it. Instead, she’s decided to start a whole new project with another caravan, which she would then convert and sell. She plans to use the money to fund her friend’s cancer treatment.
14-year-old paid $200 for an old caravan: She’s moved in.
