The popularity of websites such as Twitch, Kick and even YouTube has led to some pretty bizarre live challenges taking place. 
This was especially true when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and we had nothing better to do with our time than stare at screens all day.
The man, aged 35 and surnamed Sun, lived in eastern China. He had reportedly recorded himself consuming massive amounts of alcohol and eating mealworms, geckos and centipedes. According to Xinan Evening News, 15,000 people followed him on DouYu, where he broadcast live every night.
The sun lived in front of the camera, devouring whatever the wheel fell on.
But, according to the authorities, the man was discovered asleep and without vital signs in his room two days after the broadcast.
Upon investigating the scene, detectives apparently found food products used for the broadcast on his desk, and also discovered that his computer was in ‘live broadcast’ mode. During their investigation, police did not reveal the specific type of geckos and centipedes Sun had consumed.
