How to effectively clean plastic cutting boards I made a quick paste of turmeric and water and spread it on five different cutting boards

How to effectively clean plastic cutting boards I made a quick paste of turmeric and water and spread it on five different cutting boards. (I had already used this mixture as a natural fabric dye and noticed how quickly the pretty colour transferred (read: stained) to any surface it came into contact with.) So I tested each cutting board. The scores: each method was given a score from 1 to 5, with 5 being the best overall and 1 being my least favourite. In addition to the score, I added some comments about how easy or difficult the method was, how much grease was needed and how long it took to remove. Cutting Board Cleaning Method: Baking powder and white vinegarTotal time: 10 minutes
Score: 1/5
Method: Mix equal parts baking powder and white vinegar to make a paste. Spread the paste on the stain and leave it on for at least 5 minutes. Then wash with water and a soapy sponge.
Here’s what happened: I tried to find out why baking powder could be used instead of baking soda to clean, and was surprised to learn that baking powder is actually baking soda with an acidic ingredient added.
