Although 19 years have passed since the United States was the target of the 9/11 terrorist attack in which some 3,000 people lost their lives, we still remember it as if it were yesterday.9/11 is synonymous with sadness and grief, but it also shows the patriotism of our citizens. On that day, everyone united against those who harmed the country and its people. The whole world mourned the lives lost and people from all corners of the earth empathised with Americans.
In those hard times, the American brand Budweiser aired a commercial that touched the hearts of many. It is so moving that it brings tears to the eyes of even the toughest of people.
The ad was not aired again until the tenth anniversary of the attack. ‘We think our 9/11 Clydesdale Tribute ad is very special,’ said Paul Chibe, Anheuser-Busch’s vice president of marketing. We are proud to re-run the ad on Sunday, the 10th anniversary, as a way to help raise awareness for the National September 11 Memorial & Museum fundraising campaign.
The subtle changes to the ad were intended to reflect the passage of time, and the most important point, that we must never forget those lost and affected by 9/11.”
