An emotional letter from Olivia Lynes’ mother to “Britain’s Got Talent” judge Amanda Holden catapulted the 11-year-old singer to fame on the show. Olivia’s mother wrote a letter to Amanda proclaiming that her daughter deserved a shot at stardom because of her extraordinary voice.
The audience and judges rose to their feet to give Olivia a standing ovation as soon as she finished her performance. Her moving performance brought two of the judges to tears. Olivia was brought into the live show as Amanda Holden quietly pressed the golden buzzer.
Tears were expected to flow during the emotional moment, so viewers were advised to bring tissues. The little singer’s impressive debut on “Britain’s Got Talent” was cemented when Amanda took the stage and gave Olivia a big hug.
