A video shared by fans on Madonna Culture’s TikTok Instagram page provided some insight into what happened.
After being knocked off balance for a moment, Madonna flipped onto her stomach and burst out laughing, earning praise from the audience.
Another member of the team stepped forward and helped her sit down on another chair.
The singer tried to continue her performance, and let out a small expletive when she realized she was sitting on the chair the wrong way round and turned around.
Another dancer, who was dragging a chair with her, approached the singer, gave her a hug and a little grind before leaving.The artist tried to move on, but the commotion was still having an effect on her, and she told the crowd, “S**t, I forgot the words”.
She quickly remembered the words and choreography and finished the song.
