Céline Dion has communicated that she is delaying the start of her tour to prioritize her health.
Singer Céline Dion revealed Thursday morning that she was suffering from a “very rare neurological disorder called stiff person syndrome” in an emotional video she shared on her official Instagram page.
Celine announced the news on Instagram, writing:
“I’ve been struggling with health issues for a while, and it’s quite difficult for me to talk about everything I’ve been through and cope with these challenges.” “It pains me to inform you that I will not be ready to resume my European tour in February,” she wrote in the post.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, people with the condition first experience stiffness in the trunk muscles, which is followed over time by the development of stiffness in the legs and other muscles of the body.
He said that all elements of his daily life, including singing and walking, are affected by the spasms he has experienced, which apparently are a symptom of the syndrome.
He explained that he had been diagnosed with a neurological condition called “stiff person syndrome,” which caused him to have intense spasms. So it is understandable that he is taking some time to focus on getting better.
