Sports fans rejoiced at the Super Bowl last weekend, but many Kansas City families suffered a devastating end.
The Missouri Chiefs won their game against the San Francisco 49ers. Taylor Swift, Blake Lively and Reba McEntire were among the celebrities eagerly watching the game.
In Kansas City, residents celebrated the momentous occasion with a parade. But it all came crashing down when at least 20 people, most of them children, were shot dead.

Ms Lopez-Galvan was a DJ on KKFI 90.1 FM and host of the popular show ‘A Taste of Tejano’. She was known for her liveliness and love of music. Her sudden death caused great sadness at the station. We talked about what she meant to the community and how she will be missed.
In a statement posted on Facebook, KKFI 90.1 FM wrote: “It is with sincere sadness and an extremely heavy and broken heart that we let our community know that Lisa Lopez, KKFI DJ and host of ‘Taste of Tejano’, lost her life today in the shooting at the KC Chiefs rally.”
