Lauren Sullivan was walking with her three dogs in the backyard when suddenly the dogs came to the tent in which various equipment was stored, and began to actively sniff it. Lauren realized it wasn’t just that. She carefully opened the tent and found in the corner some skinny creature resembling a wild coyote.
She didn’t know what to do with the animal, but she knew it needed help.
Lauren left food for the creature and left. Later, together with her husband, they looked into the tent again to see a sudden guest.
It turned out that it was an ordinary dog, an adult, and very thin.
The dog had a bloody wound around its neck, it is not known what the dog suffered, but the animal’s gaze definitely begged for help. The Sullivans realized they could keep another dog and took it to the clinic.
The wound on the animal’s neck was deep and infected. The dog was left in the clinic for the duration of treatment, but Lauren and Sean regularly visited Toby. That’s what they called the poor animal.
Once Toby felt better, the Sullivans decided to take him home. Despite the fact that they already had three dogs, the couple simply could not leave the unfortunate animal.
He probably ran away from the tormentors who kept him on a leash.
Now Toby is absolutely happy in his new home!
