As they say, a dog is a person’s best friend, but this domestic pig may disagree.
Meet Chowder, a six-year-old Vietnamese potbellied pig who has a lot of unusual buddies.
The pet lives with 5 rescued dogs – Rika, Slick, Nia, James, and Bashe – and with their owner Shelby Madere of Southern California, USA.
We know dogs are great pets, but Chowder turns out to be just as cuddly and cute as his fluffy cousins.
Pigs are known for their friendliness and intelligence, and this is especially true of Vietnamese pot-bellied pigs, who like to cuddle the most.
Chowder is no different from other dogs in his demeanor, often playing in the backyard with his dog comrades and even wearing a collar, just the correct size for himself.
The amicable company has its own Instagram account, where more than 47 thousand people are delighted to track their adventures.
Just look at this band. Apparently, the pig feels homely in a bunch of cool dogs. Fortunately, all his siblings accept Chowder as their favorite brother.
