After a lifetime in chains, the dog cries during the rescue

Dogs are extremely gentle creatures. These pure creatures offer nothing but unconditional love and loyalty to people. However, they often received ill-treatment in return. Unfortunately, more and more terrible owners are now treating their dogs the same way as some disposable item, or worse!

With countless puppies trapped in this heartbreaking situation, the rescue organizations simply cannot save them all. But at least they’re trying! Fortunately, this charming fox terrier is one of those dogs that got a second chance thanks to the efforts of some kind-hearted guys.

When Victor Larkhill – the founder of Let’s Adopt International, received a call of a dog found in desperate need of help, he just jumped into his car and drove there. Soon after he and his volunteers’ team arrived in the city of Cartel, Spain, where the poor dog was kept, they just couldn’t believe their eyes of what they’d seen.

Shortly after they stepped into the location, the rescue team spotted the pup. It was sitting next to a wall, in chains. With its fur matted all over, it was clear that this helpless soul was ignored by its heartless owners. As this wasn’t already enough, the poor little thing had a pretty big tumor that made it impossible for its to sit.

But despite all of this mistreatment it got, this angel was so friendly with Victor and his team. Just like it knew they were here to save it. When Victor approached it, you could easily the kindness in its eyes. It immediately started to lick its savior’s hand and wag its tail.

If anyone can even imagine this, the poor little thing didn’t have a name. Not to mention, it was kept in chains since it was a few months old puppy. So the first thing the rescuers did was to remove the chains of its neck and gave it a name. They called it Maria. The dog’s reaction when realizing it’s finally free is truly heartbreaking. It just started to cry – an overwhelming moment for everyone. Have a look:

Maria was then taken to a veterinarian clinic, where she had her tumor removed. Now she’s on her way to recover. All thanks to these nice people at the Let’s Adopt International!
