73-year-old blind and deaf elephant finally rescued, crying real tears when she’s free

This video depicts the touching salvation of an elephant who has spent most of her life in captivity, locked in a small cage and not feeling the freedom to which all animals are entitled. Sook Jay is now a 70-year-old elephant and was used mainly for hiking in the area. But thanks to the “Save the Elephant” fund, the elephant was finally able to give up all this hard work and go to the animal sanctuary. There she was finally able to experience what it was like to live free!

“Sook Jai’s life passed through the hands of several men. She moved from job to job and from one place to another, working relentlessly until falling,” the organization that rescued Sook-Jai wrote. “Sook Jai had the good fortune of being found by a caring soul who wanted to help to change her life. A peaceful life is hers now.”

The elephant’s reaction as it first gets a taste of what its new life is going to be is downright touching. You might want to grab a tissue for this one because you are most likely not going to be able to hold back the tears!

Everybody needs to see this!
