Firefighters are heroes because they are responsible for the lives of people and animals. For this reason, they must always remain calm and restrained in dangerous situations in order to avoid the slightest error that could lead to an accident. But that doesn’t mean that they’re devoid of emotions and feelings. Sometimes, in fact, they are also passionate and cannot hide their emotions.
This is the case of this firefighter from Massa Carrara (Italy). When he and his crew were on a mission, he noticed four newborn kittens trapped in the yard. He rushed to rescue the kittens and moved them to a safe place.
One of his colleagues videotaped the rescue of the last kitten, capturing a very special moment: the fireman was crying with happiness, patting the little kitten. He said to his colleague, “I want to cry, do you believe?”. After the video was published on social media, it quickly became viral and won the heart of the Internet.
Thank you, firefighters, for being willing to save people and animals, even if it may cost your life. Your efforts and your courageous deeds will always be remembered.
