The story we’re going to tell you today happened in the USA. A man named Scott Brown, along with the rest of the tourists was heading to the mountain waterfalls when suddenly a dog appeared on their road.
At first glance, it was a friendly living creature, so its appearance so far from the settlements surprised all participants. The man suggested that the dog could get lost because it visibly cheered up when meeting people. According to the behavior of the animal, it was clear that it wanted to become another member of this tourist group. Scott decided to make friends with the Labrador and take it with him so that it would not die alone in the mountains. But, it was not destined to come true. On the dog’s collar hung a message from the real owners of the dog.
After reading the message, it became clear that the dog’s name was Smokey and that it was not lost. Turns out Smokey likes tourists who come to this area. The owners ask people not to take their friendly pet because they love it very much. After learning the truth about the Labrador, Scott, of course, changed his mind about taking it with him. It’s a good thing the owners had the idea to write an explanation on the collar, otherwise, someone would have taken him long ago.
As it later became known, Smokey quite often accosts tourists, pretending that it was lost in the mountains. It liked to follow people. Probably, some kind of story happened to it once, that the owners hung an explanatory note around its neck. Smokey followed the tourists all the way and left them only on the way back. At parting, it barked loudly and walked in the direction of its house.
