A big and handsome pit bull Ritter was a pet for a long time, but due to financial problems, its owners lost their home. Having lost the opportunity to take care of the pets Ritter and a small corgi, the family was forced to make a difficult decision – the animals were sent to a shelter.
Moving to the shelter greatly affected Ritter’s mood – the animal became nervous and restless, it did not understand why it was left alone. The dog did not leave the enclosure and constantly looked at the floor. Despite all the efforts of the volunteers, they could not improve the condition of the dog, everyone knew that only a new home and family could help.
To speed up the search for new owners, they shot a video about Ritter and posted it on social networks. A big sad dog attracted the girl Sofia, she has long wanted to have a pet. The size of the dog did not frighten the girl, she recently bought her first house and there was enough space for a big dog.
The post about Ritter attracted a lot of attention, and most of all, Sofia was worried that she would not be able to get to the shelter in time because many people wanted to take the dog for themselves. Sofia’s boss even gave her a day off so that the girl could quickly go to the shelter and issue the necessary documents. Sofia was also afraid that an adult dog, accustomed to the previous owners, would simply not make contact with her.
All fears were dispelled as soon as Sofia and Ritter were in the same room. The dog immediately accepted the girl and showed sympathy for her, letting her stroke its big head. On the same day, Sofia picked up the dog, in the car on the way home, they both did not stop smiling. Ritter turned out to be a surprisingly smart dog, it quickly gets used to a new home and has boundless love for its owner.
