On a cold winter night, several people saw a cardboard box on the side of the road next to a garbage can in their neighborhood. They decided to look into the mysterious box and found a puppy lying inside. He looked like he was dead, but he wasn’t.
When the couple found him, Francis was frozen and really was motionless and they thought he was dead. Fortunately, the couple noticed that the puppy seemed to be breathing …
Francis was taken to a local animal shelter, Community Animal Rescue & Adoption, Inc. (CARA). A visit to the vet confirmed that the puppy was still alive, but he was in a deep coma.
CARA employees did everything to make the dog recover as soon as possible. He was surrounded by warmth and comfort. And on Valentine’s Day, a celebration was held in his honor.
Some wonderful people from CARA provide round-the-clock assistance to the dog. Francisa was fed a cherz probe for 2 months.
He also received physical therapy and in a short time, the dog could already open his eyes, raise his head and even stand on his own.
Its owner Harriet Scott says:
“We were lucky that we were chosen to adopt this special dog, who became such a star. But for us, he is just Francis, a sweet and affectionate dog with great energy, who likes to run and play outside, take a nap on the couch.”
Our family would be incomplete without him; he loves people so much because the love of individual people saved him.
