Four-legged hero: the dog was able to save a lost child

A dog is not only a person’s best friend but also a loyal assistant. They can not only protect the house but also save lives. Dogs have long been loyal assistants in the police, customs, and rescue services.

We want to tell you a story, the main hero of which is a service dog named Perseus. It happened in the Republic of Chuvashia in the spring.

The grandmother took her nine-year-old grandson with her to the cemetery. There she decided to clean up, and the boy sat down on a bench. Quickly, the child got bored of just sitting, and he decided to take a walk.

When the grandmother finished cleaning, the boy was nowhere near. She started calling for him but got no answer. There was a forest very close to the cemetery, and the woman realized that the child most likely went there.

She called the police and they quickly arrived at the scene. The police took with them a dog handler and a dog who was trained to save people.

Perseus sniffed the boy’s clothes and began to follow the trail. They searched for the child for about two hours. The boy was found in a forest thicket, having managed to get away from the cemetery for more than a kilometer. It turned out that the boy was up to his waist in the swamp. But fortunately, everything went well and everything was fine with the child, he did not even need medical help.

And Perseus deserves to be called a hero!
