Passers-by noticed this kitten in the street – and immediately began to call animal rights defenders. He needed help urgently, it was impossible to postpone. The little cat sat timidly in the corner, and only the ears turned in the right direction. His eyes didn’t open. Caring people begged for help to a little unfortunate creature.
Joanna and Kate went to the specified place, the kitty was still sitting there. Blind, very small and thin, it was so helpless! The dogs could gnaw it at any moment; the cruel people could make fun of her, and it doesn’t even see where to run!
They also found the mother of this baby with two kittens, but they looked healthy, and the blind baby needed urgent care.
The kitten was petted, taken in hands, and carefully arranged in carrying. Scared the little one didn’t even know what was going on or where it was going. All it could do was stomp on the carrier’s litter, to hope no one will hurt it.
When the frightened baby was taken to the orphanage, the first thing they did was bathe it. Of course, it was afraid and indignant, but a comforting dinner brought the girl to life. She found it difficult to navigate, carefully ate from the hands of the shelter employee, but soon figured out with the plate and ate all the food.
Medical examination
The cat got to the doctor late in the day, it was impossible to save the eyes. But the doctors assured: when they are removed and the animal is treated, the kitten will feel much better.
A couple of days later, the whole family of the baby was taken to the shelter: mother and brothers. They were immediately arranged with their sister to make her feel more confident.
When the cat got a little stronger, the doctor had surgery on the eyes, and now the girl is recovering. She has no psychological trauma, she has not seen anything before. Fortunately, the cat’s subtle hearing and sense of smell, help her to do without eyes. She is playful, chasing toys, and enjoying life.
Over time, a mistress was found for the cat, she named the baby Cherry. Now she has a friend – an old cat named Charlie, he is also blind. The kitten found a home and a loving person.
