This is certainly not 101, but the happy mother-heroine Nelly can also be congratulated. She was able to give birth to 18 puppies: ten boys and eight girls.
Breeder Louise Clement was very surprised
“She had a long birth,” said Clement. “I thought it was over after number 15 because she seemed to have gone to bed.” But then there was another one, and then two more. Nelly has become a really great mom. I am immensely proud of her, she is amazing.”
Clement has bred Dalmatians for more than 30 years now has a large number of dogs of this breed, now 27 individuals run in her yard.
“Fortunately, we have a lot of free space and the dogs have a place to roam,” she added.
“They have their own house, swings, and slides that they love to play on. Some sleep in the kitchen, some sleep in the utility room, and some sleep in the living room. Sometimes a couple of them sleep in bed with me. “
46-year-old Clement said that she wants to keep one puppy, and the other 17 will soon go to new homes.
